Educating Today's Child For Tomorrow

Plas-Y-Brenin

Day three has seen weather from sun to snow and we have enjoyed every minute! We travelled to Plas-Y-Brenin and took part in three different activities; canoeing, climbing and low ropes. It was great to see how resilient the children were, particularly on the climbing wall, where many of them really pushed themselves to go that bit further. The sense of achievement afterwards was fantastic! We also saw great teamwork and the children were extremely supportive of one another during all of the activities.

Back at the hostel, we were able to get outside and play in the garden before our hot chocolate and quiz. The rounds included questions about Wales, the trip so far and what has been in the news, it was clear some had been doing their research and listening well! We were also rewarded with 10 minutes extra play before bedtime from Miss Fiddler - back at home, she had heard how lots of members of the public have been telling our adults how impressed they are with our exceptional behaviour and manners. Well done Year 5!

Today, we're off to the Great Orme and Llandudno for more fun, laughter and learning.
