Week 2: 9th September 2019
The children have been spending the week settling in to their new environment, making new friends and learning all about the routines and expectations at school.
We will be spending the next few weeks covering the topic ‘All About Me’. Over the summer, the children were encouraged to add 5 special objects to a box to share with the class. The children have begun to share their ‘All About Me’ boxes this week. They have enjoyed talking about the items in their boxes and showing them to friends. We are really enjoying getting to know more about everyone in Toucan Class!
Next week we will continue to learn and about the routines and expectations in Reception. We will continue to learn how to share the environment with lots of other children. We will share the remaining ‘All About Me’ boxes next week and we will continue to learn even more about each other.
