Hello! I'm Miss Wilson

Hello, my name is Miss Wilson and I am the Early Years Lead at Bushey and Oxhey Infants. This will be my 5th year leading Early Years and I am most excited to continue this journey in a new school! 

I am highly passionate about Early Years and believe in the importance of play! Children should be empowered to use their imagination and curiosity to take the lead in their learning, deepening their knowledge independently, creating an intrinsic desire to learn and thrive!

Outside of school I enjoy cooking, going for walks (and when I am not tired…a light jog/run), and of course travelling and visiting different countries! 

I am excited to become part of the Bushey Federation family.

Hello! I'm Mrs Sherwood

Hi, my name is Mrs Sherwood and I have worked at both the Infant and Junior School for 17 years now. I am thrilled to be coming back to Reception after seven years supporting our older children in Years 2, 3 and 4. It is such a privilege to be able to work with the youngest members of our school community, particularly as they explore the world through play. As Einstein so eloquently put it "Play is the highest form of research."

Outside of school, my passions are reading, walking, singing and crafting. At the moment, my favourites being cross-stitching and origami.
