Hello! I'm Miss Wilson

I’m the Early Years Lead here at Bushey and Oxhey Infants. I’m a very experienced Early Years teacher and have been leading in Early Years for six years. This will be my second year leading at Bushey and Oxhey, and I’m so excited for another fantastic year ahead!

I’m incredibly passionate about the Early Years and a huge believer in the power of play! I love seeing children use their imagination and curiosity to guide their own learning - asking questions, making discoveries, and developing that wonderful spark that drives them to learn and thrive.

Outside of school, I enjoy cooking, going for long walks, and keeping active with Pilates. I also love going on holiday - especially visiting different countries each time and exploring new places and cultures. I always enjoy spending time socialising with friends and family!

I feel so lucky to be part of Bushey Federation - it really is a special place, and I’m looking forward to all the fun and learning the year will bring!

Hello! I'm Mrs Sherwood

Hi, my name is Mrs Sherwood and I have worked at both the Infant and Junior School for 17 years now. I am thrilled to be coming back to Reception after seven years supporting our older children in Years 2, 3 and 4. It is such a privilege to be able to work with the youngest members of our school community, particularly as they explore the world through play. As Einstein so eloquently put it "Play is the highest form of research."

Outside of school, my passions are reading, walking, singing and crafting. At the moment, my favourites being cross-stitching and origami.
