Educating Today's Child For Tomorrow

Week 5: 30.11.2020

This week we have been learning:

English

- We have been looking at instruction writing.

-We have looked at the key features of a set of instructions including imperative verbs, time words, numbered steps etc.

-We then wrote our own set of instructions including all these features.

Maths

-We started off the week by looking at problems and deciding whether the statement is true or false. Red class had to be able to prove to me (through drawings and explaining why) how they know if a statement is true or false.

- We then looked at the relationship between multiplication and division and looked at the inverse relationship.

-Finally we have continued practising our arithmetic skills and the skill of swapping from one operation to the next.

History

-We have been looking a a Chinese Dragon and recognising the importance it has in Chinese culture.

-We then learnt about the history of The Great Wall of China.
