Art in Action

Our Art and Design Curriculum 

 

At Bushey Primary Education Federation, we are proud of our Art and Design Curriculum. Our aim is to develop children’s skills and knowledge so that they are proud of their achievements at all stages of the artistic process. They use a range of materials in order to become increasingly proficient at drawing, painting, printing and sculpture. 

 

Alongside developing the practical aspects of Art and Design, children learn about great artists, craftspeople, architects and designers in history. They use vocabulary accurately and can share their thoughts about works of art with increasing confidence.
