- Learning about the features of writing a formal letter.
-Writing a formal letter in first person (Thomas Farriner) to King Charles II about how the Great Fire of London started.
Maths
-This week has been about estimation (making a clever guess).
- We have been making estimation of answers for number sentences and writing our reasons why we made these estimations.
- We then used an empty number line to estimate where numbers up to 100 would sit.
-We started to look at addition word problems.
History
-We looked at how the Great Fire of London started and why it spread so quickly.
