Week 14: 9th December 2019
We have been busy preparing for our Nativity this week. On Friday we had our dress rehearsal and Year 1 and 2 came to watch us. The performance went well and we're really looking forward to performing for our families next Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning.
On Wednesday afternoon we went to Bushey Manor for our Elf Run. We all wore elf hats and ran laps around the playground to raise money for Mencap. We all had a lovely afternoon.
In phonics this week we learned the sounds w and x, and these have been added to your child's sound tag. I have also added the sounds that we will be learning next week onto the sound tags so they do not need to be handed in next week. If your child is confident with the 6 words on their tricky word tag, please let us know so that we can add the next group of words to their tags for them to practise.
On Monday we will be going to the pantomime. We will leave after the register has been taken on Monday morning and will return to school around lunch time. School lunches will be provided for the children on our return.
