Educating Today's Child For Tomorrow

Week 13: 2nd December 2019

Our volcano erupted this week! We learned about real volcanoes and how they erupt. We looked at some examples of volcanoes around the world that have erupted. We did a science experiment, adding certain ingredients together to make the volcano erupt. We drew pictures to record what we had learned.

We have been busy preparing for our Nativity this week. We have begun to decorate our classroom and are in the process of changing our role play area into Santa's workshop. It will be ready for the children to start using next week.

The children chose their first school library book to take home with them this week. Each Tuesday afternoon they will visit our school library where they can return the book they have and choose a new one. Please remember to bring you child's school library book in their book bag every Tuesday.

We are still looking for volunteers to come with us to the pantomime on Monday 16th December. Please speak to Miss Tarrant or Mrs. Dunne if you can help us with this.

We are also looking forward to our Elf Run at Bushey Manor next Wednesday.

Have a lovely weekend Toucan Class.
