Week 4

This week M6 have been having fun exploring negative numbers and rounding by playing 'Jump Through Zero' (ask the children to explain the rules to you! It is addictive) and learning 'We Will Round You' - a song that is to the tune of Queen's 'We Will Rock You'. In English we have read the first chapter of 'Pig Heart Boy' and are preparing vocabulary banks in preparation for creating their own version of the opening chapter. In science, the children have consolidated their understanding of the components and functions of blood and they have been learning how to play medieval rhythms in music.
