Weeks 4 and 5

Over the last two weeks, M6 have started their topic of evolution, exploring inheritance in science (creating their own Mr Men offspring) and learning about Darwin’s and Wallace’s theories of evolution in English. The texts ‘What Mr Darwin Saw’ and ‘Moth’ have been the stimulus for the work and have helped the children to partake in a class debate on who is the most admirable scientist - Darwin or Wallace. This will lead into persuasive writing next week.
