A warm welcome from Miss Kerr, Miss McLaren and Mrs Liquori!

We are a class of 29 children and 3 adults who love sharing our learning with our friends. We are enthusiastic about finding out new information and we will always have a question at the ready! We are looking forward to developing ourselves as aspirational, inquisitive learners.

Please continue to check our class Twitter page for updates on our exciting learning journey!

Hello!

I’m Miss McLaren. I have been a teacher for 15 years and have spent most of that time working at a school in Brent before coming to join Bushey Federation. I can’t imagine working anywhere else! I have worked  across all year groups and have enjoyed getting to grips with the Bushey and Oxhey community.

I particularly enjoy teaching maths and watching children spot pattern and make links in their learning while using pictures and a variety of manipulatives. It’s such a joy to see a child grow in ability and confidence over time and use their new found knowledge to work out an answer! I also enjoy exploring art and experimenting within science.

Away from the classroom, I enjoy walking, theatre visits, exploring the world and its history and reading.

Hello,

I’m Mrs Liquori. I am probably one of the longest serving members of staff, having worked at the school as a teaching assistant for many years, which goes to show how much I love my job.

My passion within the classroom is to develop children’s love and joy of reading and to squeeze in as much art as we possibly can, especially if we can add in some glitter!

I am married, with three children (all grown up now). My hobbies are soaking up the sun, going to the theatre, visiting art exhibitions, reading thriller/crime novels and taking part in quizzes, which I do regularly.

What have we been up to this week?
