Week 2
First off, an apology from Miss Gregory! I have somehow not managed to take any photos this week, however I can reassure you that the learning in M6 week has bee productive, purposeful and engaging! The class have worked really hard to develop their understanding of formal multiplication, with the view to starting formal division next week, and they have produced some wonderful diary entries from the perspective of Cameron from 'Pig Heart Boy'. The Year 6 teaching team are hard at work behind the scenes to get a display of all of the fabulous learning; watch this space for many photos and celebrations next week!
In science, M6 have now labelled and understood the purpose of the full/double circulatory system and next week they plan an explanation text for how the system works. Today, they have celebrated Children In Need by wearing 'Lockdown Loungewear' and thinking about their own (and others) mental wellbeing... by eating Malteasers!
