Welcome to Blue Class

Hello! I'm Miss Phillips

This is my fourth year teaching at Bushey and Oxhey Infant School. I have always really enjoyed working in Reception classes.  I’ve had many opportunities to work in different schools and adapt my teaching based on all the Early Years approaches that I have seen.  However, this year I wanted a change - Hello Year 2!

I love being creative! Especially when I get a chance to spend some calm time drawing and colouring (which doesn't happen as often as I would like.) I love it when children feel confident enough to share all of their amazing creations with me.

My favourite books are those that explore emotions, feelings, and how to express ourselves. For this reason, one of my favourite authors is Tom Percival, his illustrations are perfect for explaining these complex themes in a child (and adult) friendly way!

My favourite colours (I just can't decide on one!) are purple and blue and of course everything looks better with a bit...or a lot... of glitter!

Working with children, I get this question a lot, it’s possibly the most important piece of information you will learn about me. My favourite Disney princess is - drum roll please - Mulan! I know you will all rest easy now you know this fun fact. 

Hello! I am Mrs Murphy,

I have worked at Bushey Primary Education Federation for many years, and my children even got to experience the school first hand by attending it. Many of you may know me from being up at the juniors and doing the after school club, this year though I have ventured down the Infants!

Hello I'm Mrs Roche

I have also worked at Bushey Manor for many years, I like to really get to know children and enjoy doing this through 1:1 work. I feel it gives me the opportunity to really get to know the children I am working with. Looking forward to the year ahead!
