Week 3
This week was Assessment Week. The children got to experience their first taste of SATs past papers and worked really hard throughout the week to showcase their understanding. The main aim of this week has been to highlight key areas that might need to be specifically targeted within our curriculum planning for this term.
When we weren't completing SATs papers, we were writing and publishing our persuasive letters to Oliver Dowden. Let's hope that our thoughts and suggestions make a real difference in protecting our local environment. Next week, we are going to begin reading and exploring the book 'Pig Heart Boy' by Malorie Blackman.
In Art sessions, we have thoroughly enjoyed our first unit of work entitled 'People in Motion'. Over the last few weeks, we have learnt how to draw people using correct proportions, completed speed drawing activities, and this week, we replicated people in motion from computerised images.
