Day One
Day one almost done!
We’ve travelled land and sea and made it to our new home, Little Canada.
Once we arrived at the PGL camp, we met our ‘groupies’, who will be looking after us throughout the week, and headed down to view our accommodation. Having checked out our ‘chalets’, we spent some time unpacking and playing wide games. After this, we had a tour of the site, learning about the different areas and the activities we will be doing for the rest of week. After we had finished the tour, we headed to our first dinner and tucked into generous helpings of sausage ‘n’ mash, fish pie or vegetarian hot pot.
Still to come tonight is our first activity; songs around the camp fire.
Tomorrow we will have a full day of activities including ‘The Matrix’, Jacob’s ladder, fencing, climbing and abseiling.
