Day One
We left school full of excitement! Arriving at Gaveston Hall, we erupted into a huge cheer and then sat ourselves down for a picnic in the outdoor area. We caught a few brief showers of rain but were lucky enough to be able to enjoy the outdoors all afternoon. We took part in sketching, shelter building, pond dipping and a game of rounders before settling down to a hearty meal of fish fingers or chicken nuggets with chips and beans. We even had ice cream for dessert! We are about to go on our night walk with our torches and then settle into bed with a story. We already can't wait for tomorrow!
